Our Foundation Dog Training Program is designed for dogs that are 8 months of age and over.

The aim of this program is to promote responsible dog ownership and encourage the training of well-mannered dogs that are able to cope with the many distractions of the environment.

Some of the practical exercises we are cover are recall/come when called, stay for a specific duration, mat training, how to relax, laying down and standing up on cue, walking calmly on lead plus more.

We also cover management strategies for problem behaviours such as jumping, pulling on lead and arousal.

Developing skills on a lead are very useful when walking your dog, no matter what size or age. We can spend the time with your dog teaching them the necessary skills so they are able to walk comfortably on a loose lead. Combining the physical nature of walking with the mental stimulation gained by training.
